ORCA™ Xtreme – Distal Biceps Repair
Mark Mighell MD, Florida Orthopedic Institute (Tampa, Florida) demonstrates the use of innovative dual-button, self-locking technology for distal biceps repair using the Orca Xtreme™ button. This device allows the surgeon to perform a Patient-Specific Screwless repair utilizing a smaller tunnel. The self-locking double button construct also reduces the risk of gap formation at the tendon-bone interface.
Labral Repair – SLAP repair using 3.0mm PUNCHTac™ Anchors – Vic Goradia MD
Vic Goradia MD (Richmond, VA) demonstrates repair of type 2 SLAP tear using three 3.0mm Dunamis Medical PUNCHTac™ push in peek anchors. Each anchor is preloaded with #2 high strength UHMWPE suture. The drilling system for labral repair is designed with a positive stop to assist surgeons with the depth of insertion of the drill and suture anchor.
Arthroscopic Double Row Rotator cuff repair – Bridging technique: Vic Goradia MD
Vic Goradia MD (Richmond, VA) demonstrates repair of a full-thickness rotator cuff tear using Dunamis Medical PUNCHTac™ Anchor System. The surgeon uses the bridging repair technique to perform a double-row repair. The double-row repair utilizes two 5.5 mm medial row threaded PUNCHTac™ anchors preloaded with 2mm high strength UHMWPE Tensile Tapes (one white tape and one blue tape) and the repair is completed using two lateral row 4.5mm knotless anchors.

SureFlip™ Impant System
The SureFlip™ implant system is designed to assist surgeons to perform antegrade AC repair. The implant delivery system can shuttle the Constrictor® fixation button or the Constrictor® Mini adjustable buttons across bony tunnels. The dynamic slider maintains tension in the fibers to ease passage through the bony tunnels and allows for a reliable flip during device deployment.
Flip N Loc™ AC Repair technique – Knotless fixation
The animation demonstrates the use of the Constrictor® Mini knotless adjustable device for AC repair fixation using a Flip N Loc™ antegrade surgical repair technique. The anti-tilt locking button is designed to reduce the incidence of tunnel widening and secondary fractures. The design allows for a bone preserving, low profile repair using a knotless adjustable button.
Constrictor® Syndesmosis Repair Surgical Demonstration
This animation demonstrates the technique for the Constrictor® – Knotless Adjustable Button designed for syndesmosis repair. The Constrictor’s unique Active Lock™ design maintains tension while resisting separation between the tibia and fibula. It was designed to minimize the elongation of the construct and provide a higher ultimate load to failure. The Constrictor is loaded with a passing suture and is used with a 3.7mm drill system for syndesmosis repair.
Constrictor® Extended Button Support
This video demonstrates the Extended button being utilized in conjunction with Constrictor®. The extended button is used to enhance the fixation by providing a wider surface area for the repair. The Constrictor™ button fits into the recess of the extended button creating a larger footprint of repair. It is designed to maximize button-to-the-bone contact. The construct is low profile and can be beneficial in cases of cortical blowout and patients with osteopenia.
